Janin | Habis Pengambaran

Alhamdullilah, filem Janin sudah pun selesai pengambaran di Melaka. Sudah 3 minggu rasa nya. Pada mulanya tak sabar nak beraksi depan camera, pertengahan produksi pulak tak sabar nak habis, akhir produksi "Dah nak habis ke? " Nak buat camne dah habis! wrap! Jom baling tepung!!! Itulah suasana nya. Sebab semua cast & crew stress. Have fun! Enjoy! Dah Haaabis....

4 minggu merupakan pegambaraan yang penuh cabaran dan dugaan di tempuhi. Shooting bulan ramadan (alhamdullilah lah sebab banyak setan kena kurung) selamat lah sket insya-allah.

Pelbagai aksi-aksi lari dalam hutan tgh malam, jumpa toyol kat hutan lagi, dengan special effects Ella Sandera, berdarah-darah eh jap..berlumuran darah-darah. Seronok mmg seronok, kerja tetap kerja. Jadi tunggulah tahun 2009 biler Grand Brilliance releasekan date di layar perak.

Nervous? Selagi tak habis kuar wayang, memang nervous. Apa sebab? Lakonan? Jalan cerita? Tapi saya percaya director Yeop mampu menghasilkan yang terbaik. Oh yeah, jangan lupa saksikan filem arahan pertama Yeop Hitler Zami, Dunia Baru The Movie.

Sape jer yang berlakon dalam filem nih. Macam banyak orang baru jer? Ramai yang baru dan yang veteran. Hairi Othman and Eja leading, Pak Uda (Zami Ismail), Kuswadinata, Ghazali Buyong, Zulkifli Zain, Kisma Johar ... Yang baru pula, Riz Ainuddin, Alak, Amir Farhan, Fikhree, Yasmin Isa, Fynn Jamal (Yang dalam Anak Pontianak tuh), Rahilla.

Janin | Riz Ainuddin as Khir

Life's as a talent can be hectic at times..well, most of the time. Especially if you're not JUST a talent, I've gotta juggle time between family, business, makan sessions with the friedchillies crew and photography assignments. If you haven't seen my porfolio yet. Check out my collection of photography from my travels to food.

It's been nearly coming to three (3) months I have not trim nor cut my hair which I normally do every three weeks or so. Subsequently, I've kept a beard and mustache aka Jambang among us Malays. Lol! I never look so mess-up! and unshaven. Occasionaly, when I can't take it any longer, I just had to clip it off with my trusted clippers. Ok! Now I feel a bit more decent.

Why doing this? Actually, I'm visualizing my character as a villlage fisherman name Khir in my new upcoming Grand Brilliance and KL Motion Pictures film Janin written by Wan Hasliza and directed by Hitler Zami. He recently finished shooting for Dunia Baru The Movie.

Janin will be hit, I can feel it. The story is so strong yet subtle yet so emotionally attached. I was totally moved after reading the script. It's a story about a female Toyol.

Toyol? Sorry? Ok, toyol is mythical spirit in the Malay mythology of South-East Asia. It is usually called upon or evoke by a bomoh (aka witch doctor) from a childs grave or fetus and given the task of stealing valuebles from people. More about Toyol.

I'll be acting alongside Eja and Hairi Othman as the leading male and female actress. Production will begin in two weeks today. Will keep you guys updated after I'm done shooting. ;)

The KL Samurai | Official Statement

It's official. I've been holding this role for months after meetings and negotiations to tell the world. Riz Ainuddin is officially the 'The KL Samurai'.

Quote from the press statement taken from the website. The KL Samurai.

Based on his talent and determination, Riz Ainuddin shall represent a new version of a Malaysian hero. "Riz has the basic charisma, look and personality that can be further enhanced so he would be able to deliver the arrogant, manipulative and mystical character of the 'KL Samurai' in the film successfully" states the Project Director.

Riz is currently undergoing a special samurai 'kenjitsu' and 'mutojutsu' training under the guidance of Master Haja Mohaideen of Akademi Wajadiri Malaysia (AWM) as part of preparation for fight scenes and duel in the film.

Riz will be playing the lead role of Johan Ahmad Takada, a Malay-Japanese CEO who hates his Japanese blood but at the same time being haunted and possessed by the samurai spirit of the past.

Berdasarkan bakat dan kesungguhanya, Riz Ainuddin akan mewakili versi baru hero Malaysia. "Riz mempunyai karisma, rupa dan personaliti asas yang melayakan beliau untuk mempertingkatkan agar beliau dapat membawa watak jejajak 'KL Samurai' yang angkuh, manupulatif dan mistikal dalam filem tersebut dengan jayanya" kata Pengarah Projek.

Riz kini sedang menjalani latihan khas samurai 'kenjitsu' dan 'mutojutsu' dibawah pimpinan Master Haja Mohaideen dari Akedemi Wajadiri Malaysia (AWM) sebagai sebahagian daripada persediaan untuk babak aksi dan lawan tanding dalam filem berkenaan.

Riz akan memegang watak utama sebagai Johan Ahmad Takada, seorang Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif berketurunan melayu-jepun yang membenci darah keturunan Jepunnya tetapi dalam masa yang sama dihantui dan dirasuk oleh roh samurai zaman silam.

I'm gonna working with the best people in the industry to date. I have so much to research and learn till the targeted shooting date. Am I nervous? Nope. I'm more nervous looking forward for the film to be screened. :)

My preparation as the lead actor in KL Samurai has just begun. I've officially started training with Master Haja in the art of Kenjitsu and Mutojitsu. The art of the Samurai.

Always wanted to do a movie poster during my career as an art director and designer. And I finally got one! The idea of using a photographic technique named stereographic where the panaramic photo is distort into a planet. Look closely when you're at the cinema and you can spot my initials inside. True master at work! :)

Cast were studio shot separately. Gosh. Some came early, some came late, some came on different days. Biasalah kan? When you're the expert, things should look seamless like this. Akan Datang!

This was my moment on Tuesday 9 January 2007. To be on Cover of Rentak Artis Popular (RAP) by Harian Metro. Never imagined that it could make cover for one of Malaysia's best selling Malay tabloid, Harian Metro.

What you see is me and Alin, both are represented by KL Motion Picture (KLMP) for getting a part in a film, Antoo Fighter.

Antoo Fighter | Riz Ainuddin is Krompang Kramping

Shoot was over! My scene at least.

It was a long 2 nights of shooting and waiting for the set of my scene in Antoo Fighter (2007). It's like that when you're on set, stand by at 5PM, shoot starts a few hours later and my shot ended at about 7AM the next day. Most of the scene's where night scenes.

Location wise, we were in Kelly's Castle, right inside. Freaky and spooky though. A few incidences came up with some cast and crew seeing things which not suppose to be there.

Check out my character's outfit and make up. That is one sick pants! MC Hammer yo! and glimmering too. :))

Shooting is still going on around Klang Valley till end of the month. Movie gonna be out end of the year! Be sure to watch it.

Antoo Fighter | Casting Session Unit Tindakan Bersepadu

I obviously did something right in the casting session for upcoming film in 2007, Antoo Fighter. A supporting role character I will be performing as Krompang Kramping. A Siamese tribe warrior with 'Belia 4B' attitude.

What I find challenging playing this role is the fact that I must speak in a Siamese accent. Martial arts is also involve. Good for me, I have a decent background in martial arts. During practice, I manage to grasp hold of the combos and movements choreograph by some of the industries best stunt coordinators with ease. It's the matter of making it perfect during time of shoot. Nervous!

Check out Kilik from the game Soul Calibre. I have a spear-staff like weapon like him.

A comedy flick directed by Chunk Adnan (FDAM) in association with Grand Brilliance and Image Box. Some of the familiar main cast I know includes Awie and Radhi of OAG for lead roles. The rest of the cast of which majority are new faces (well at least new for me :)), I've probably seen them somewhere on dramas, commercials or films.

There will be a few good local films out next year, Antoo Fighters is one of them definitely. Watch out!
